Prijedlog staze: posjet izvoru rijeke Kupe
The source of the river Kupa is one of the unresolved mysteries of this karst area, as it is one of the deepest Croatian wellspring. At the altitude of 321 m above the sea level, the water formed a stunning turquoise lake. The upper flow of the Kupa river is rich in flora and fauna and is named the Wonderful valley of butterflies. This tour is made as a physically less demanding one.

The visit to the source of the Kupa river can be done from two different directions:
a) from the Razloge village where a windy footpath takes you in just 30 minutes to the source of the river. One will need twice as much time to return
b) From Hrvatsko village, across Kupara where the footpath leads next to the river up to the source. This route also takes aprox. 30 minutes. On the way back you can take the right side of the river shore.

Suggestion: The Big Risnjak (1528m)
To mountaineers whose aim is to reach the peaks and enjoy the wonderful views from 1528m at the Bay of Kvarner, Istra and Julian Alps in Slovenia, this will definitely remain a memorable trip. There are several mountain paths, and the closest access is from the entrance Vilje in Gornje Jelenje. There is a partly asphalted road that takes to the area Medvjeda vrata across the southern Mali Risnjak from which there is a stunning view on the whole mountain range of Risnjak as well as the mountain hut.

Suggestion: Snježnik (1.506 m)
This is a more demanding mountaineering path. They say that the view from this peak at 1506m is one of the most beautiful ones in Croatia. You need approximately one hour to reach to Snjeznik from the direction of Platak. The easiest way is from the footpath that takes you from Greben to the top.
